Being physically fit does not mean you are healthy,
nor does being healthy mean you are fit.
Are you physically fit?
Can you run 2 miles?
How many step-ups can you do in 2 minutes?
Can you bench press your body weight?
How many push-ups can you do?
How many pull-ups can you do?
Do you have a vertical leap of 20 inches?
Can you run 300 yards in 60 seconds?
Can you touch your toes?
Is your resting heart rate below 60 beats a minute?
Does your heart rate drop at least 10 beats after
60 seconds of rest from an intense physical activity?
The above questions address fitness, but what about your health?
Do you struggle with…..
Fatigue or lack of energy?
Headaches or lightheadedness?
Bloating, Indigestion, Heartburn or other digestive problems?
Cravings or low blood sugar?
Mood swings or irritability?
Allergies or frequent infections?
Constipation or diarrhea?
Difficulty falling or staying asleep?
Joint pain or stiffness?
Good healthy is not merely absence of disease! You may not have a diagnosed disease, but are you truly healthy if you struggle with any of these type of ailments?
Being physically fit – doesn’t mean you are healthy or visa-versa.
There are plenty of physically fit people/athletes…who are not healthy.
