What is your opinion on hydrocortisone in small doses for people who are in the farthest stage of adrenal exhaustion? I really feel like my body is so burned out that I need something to prop me up for awhile. Ive read so many stories of people who's bodies were just so messed up that even with adaptogenic herbs and/or glandulars they were not recovering. I feel adrenalin spikes for even the smallest things like slight arguments or even mental frustrations. Thank you

Callie,

If your adrenals are truly burned out as you describe, you should also be addressing the depletion of the neurotransmitters that help calm and quiet the body and mind. I am talking about serotonin and GABA, which is why we always recommend using both Adrenal Fuel and Neuro Calm together for people who have really burned their adrenals out.

If you do you can get the recovery you are hoping for with herbs and supplements...but the fact that you mention the slightest mental struggles can set you off...suggests to me that you are not addressing the problem correctly.

If you do address it properly you don't need to use the drug approach, which doesn't help you...it only gives you a crutch....that's a big difference, with regards as to what I and I think you want.

let me know if we can be of additional help or if you want to set up a consultation to get you moving in the right direction. I am also assuming you have had your adrenal glands measured with a saliva test, correct? If Not, you should definitely get that done so we can figure out how big or small of a dosage we can give you to get you healthy again,
