My fiance has gout and would love to be taking something like "TripleFlex" for his joint pain. Unfortunately, there are derivatives of shellfish in their formula, which worsens his gout. He stays away from red meat and certain other things, but I told him I would contact you to see if you could provide something that would be of help to him. He takes cranberry pills and fish oil, but I was wondering if there is something else efficacious he should be taking. Thank you so much for your input.

Sincerely,

Terry Kay,

Fish oils and cranberry's are great and highly recommended, but is he taking enough to make a difference. This is huge because he may not be taking enough to make a difference and/or doing to much of the negative things that make things worse.

I like at least 3-5 grams of fish oils a day on top of using olive oil to cook with, eating a handful of nuts and seeds regularly and fish a couple times a week.

I don't know about the joint formula you mentioned....but remember we need to also get his body more alkaline....a mineral complex is great. An inexpensive solution is apple cider vinegar. If his adrenals glands are depleted and exhasuted due to stress...his body is not going to do a good job of getting rid of all that inflammation....so address those adrenal glands with Adrenal Fuel. Finally, get our Inflazyme into him...it is great at reducing or eating up the inflammation in the body. It works so much better than aspirin or other antiinflammatory drugs....it doesn't irritate or harm your liver or kidneys like those drugs.

Hope that helps,

Dr. Len
