Dear dr len, Im in a desperate situation to become MYSELF again.. Been suffering with almost constant anxiety. Have been going through a ruff time the last year with a long relationship breakup..
I have tried so many supplements over the last year, and everything seems to make it worse..i was taking glandulars for awhile by dr wilson, it help for awhile and then crashed..
I spoke to another adrenal expert(dr lam) and told me most people should not take glandulars with the later stages of adrenal problems..
I woundered what success you have had with your adrenal fuel product for the more advanced stages of adrenal fatigue?
I am a fan of glandulars and believe they are helpful, especially for someone in stage 3 adrenal exhaustion. As far as Adrenal Fuel, it is great for anyone with adrenal fatigue and exhaustion....or who is overworking there adrenals with additional stress. the problem i consistently see from people who are struggling with Adrenal fatigue is that they sometimes expect the pills to do all the work....overcome AF is a part pronged approach.....you have to take the Right Dosage, do you need one or three or six Adrenal Fuels a day to begin with? Everyone is different, like debt, we all have a different level of stress on our body, often times i see people only taking two capsules a day, even though they have told me they have been under terrible stress for the last ten years. So make sure you find the right dosage, I have seen people not get any results until we increased their dosage and WOW! Another thing to mention if you were a patient of mine and we found out you did have Adrenal exhaustion from lab tests, there would probably be some additional things I would give you to speed up the recovery.
I can't tell you for sure what type of exercise or training that is best for your situation, since I don't have nearly enough information to adequately or specifically comment, although I will say, if your adrenals are exhausted and depleted, you don't want to be doing much if any "Anaerobic" exercise, which includes strength training. Nor do you want to be making the classic mistake of doing your Aerobic Exercise at too high of an intensity level that it becomes or triggers "Anaberioc Metabolism"....which is stress producing.
More info about that is in the site (articles and Blog) as well as 3 chapters in my book.
As far as the numbness, it could be coming from a number of sources...again, more information would help narrow it down....and that might also include an actual physical examine, which is probably impossible unless you live in the Dallas area.
