Hi thanks for your site and answering everybodys questions. After dealing with alot of stress from my so called friends and people I know for 8 years from rumors that were spread about me and always feeling guilt and ashamed from everybody talking about me. I would always feel the fight or flight response whenever I would be around people for the past 8 years which lead to sweating, hot flushes/flashes, and dangerous thoughts. I eventually couldnt even go around people or family anymore because I would have mental breakdowns with anger or crying. I eventually just stayed in my room by myself. I looked for ways to relieve my stress. I started riding bicycle long distance about 15 miles a day. Eventually I couldnt do this anymore. One day 3 summers ago my family invited me to come to a family picnic which I eventually had a mental breakdown and had to leave. Later that night I was laying in bed and came down with a horrible fever and joint inflammation that was so bad I wanted to hang myself. It has been 3 years dealing with this inflammation in my feet, ankles, and knee joints, and also prostate. Around the same time I started loosing my hair also. I went to the doctor and explained my inflammation he took blood and found a gene marker hla-b27 and said I might have reiters syndrome. I am always fatigued and inflammation has changed my life for the worse. It wasnt till somtime this week I was searching the net and found adrenal exhaustion can cause autoimmune inflammation, and hairloss. I started taking a b-complex, magnesium, 5htp, glutamine, and siberian ginseng and 3 days after taking these supplements my joint inflammation has stopped, but still feel chronic fatigue. I hope this helps other people. I am a 28 year old male diagnosed with schizophrenia 2 years ago. I am going to the doc to ask him if I can get my dhea cortisol checked. I think my cortisol ran out from to much stress to cause my inflammation for 3 years? somhow these supplements helped with this.
I guess my question is do u think my chronic emotional stress, and physical stress all of these 8 years caused me one night to break out into a fever and inflammation in my joints? and also around the same time I started loosing my hair , and was having sexual problems- no erection and prostate pain frequent urination. Did I run my adrenals so low that they stopped producing cortisol to stop inflammation, and stopped producing progesterone to stop dht from scalp and prostate? It seems odd that after taking the supplements that I listed my inflammation has stopped 3 days later. It has been 3 years of chronic inflammation and doctors prescribing me antiinflammatories and the anti inflammatories dont even seem to help. But theses calming supplements did?
It definitely sounds like you are dealing with an adrenal problem. I would suggest having your adrenals measured...click on the "Testing" link to learn more. Your adrenals could be so exhausted that they can't make enough cortisol to help reduce the inflammation going on and the supplements you are giving are only a drop in the bucket as to what your adrenals are thirsty for. Don't forget that all the time your adrenals are pumping out more cortisol...it is triggering or causing your body to produce less serotonin, your feel good neurotransmitter (brain messenger), which is so involved with our mood and emotional state.....I would recommend using the Adrenal Fuel along with the Neuro Calm.
I hope you can read some of the Articles and Blog to learn more and get headed down the right path.
