Hi again. Thanks for answering my questions, I really appreciate it. I do have some NeuroCalm here but it got pushed to be the back of the shelf awhile back. I should get it out again, I think I stopped taking it because of the empty stomach requirement. I was snacking in the evenings... is there any benefit to NeuroCalm if it's not on an empty stomach? And I have a new question, is there any point in trying to eat mostly alkaline foods? Thanks again and God Bless You....

Bria, The body thrives in an alkaline environment. Fruits and veggies make you alkaline, while most grains make you acidic. I think balance is good, but the reason we are so acidic is because of way to much Refined Foods, Too much coffee, soft drinks and energy drinks, Too much powdered protein shakes....and of course too much stress and let's not forget possibly for some of us too Intense of workouts. All that contributes to acidity, which makes it harder for our little cells to thrive in. Great question, as far as empty stomach with Neuro Calm...you can take it with fruits and veggies and it will work well, but when you take it with other protein rich foods, the amino acids will be used to build or rebuild muscle/tissue. Hi Thanks for your quick response. One more question on the NeuroCalm... Right before bedtime, I've been eating a piece of cheese or some little protein food to offset a blood sugar swing that wakes me up between 2:30-4:00 a.m. (I'm assuming it's a blood sugar problem). How do I coordinate a protein to help with blood sugar and still be able to use the NeuroCalm? Last night I just took the NeuroCalm with an apple and sure enough, I was wide awake at 2:30 and I never got back to sleep. Thanks.

Bria, You can take the Neuro Calm 30-45 minutes before you eat the cheese/protein. You don't have to take the Neuro Calm right before you go to bed, but it definitely sounds like you have an adrenal problems along with a blood sugar problem. I would definitely take a minute to read our Health Protocol, which I think should help. Add the Adrenal Fuel to help support your adrenal exhaustion. Hope that helps, Dr. Len
