Hi, Dr. Len. I am so happy to write to you. After reading many books and articles from every doctor one could imagine, I stumbled on your site, and I'm sure it was no accident; I was drawn to your faith in Jesus Christ. I am born again too, since five years of age! Anyway, my problem is that I had a complete hysterectomy at the age of 34 due to severe hemorrhaging, and a benign tumor. I opted not to take synthetic hormones, and only take vitamins and soy products. I began to gain serious weight a year later, without changing my eating habits (3 squares a day, I was raised old-fashioned). I joined a gym and lost some of it, was very happy with my results as far as muscle tone, but I still cannot lose the last 28 pounds. I am now 41 and still at the gym, watching every morsel I eat, and still 28-32 pounds too heavy. I recently began to feel extremely anxious, which is not my usual self. I do have a very stressful schedule, but it never effected me before. I feel as though I am turning into someone else!
My cortisol is on the high side, cholesterol is somewhat high, bp is 120/68, cannot metabolize carbohydrates, and have a very strange palmar erythema but no liver issues. It seems to be food related since it happens after eating certain foods. I have terrible IBS, which I never had before. And yes, I retain water everywhere including in my eye lids when I eat anything salty or any white flour products, as well as starches (potatoes, big culprit) I don't understand what's happening, and my doctors just want to drug me, but they can't find a serious problem. The worse thing is, I am married to my soul mate, the most wonderful Christian man ever created, and I have NO LIBIDO, cannot bring myself to have any interest. So my guess is this: on top of the lack of hormones, I am adrenally impaired. Someone told me about DRENAMIN, and I wondered if you would recommend it? Sorry for the lengthy note, just wanted to make sure I covered everything. Thanks for reading!

It definitley sounds like you need some help. I also tell my patients and those I consult with the first step is to Restore Normal Function. if you do that you can Restore Health.
The fact that your digestion is out of whack as is your blood sugar and the fact that stress is high....led me to believe you sounds like most of my patients. You are on this vicious cycle. Drenim is a good product...although I prefer and believe that Adrenal Fuel offes so much more especially helping re-set the HPA hypothalmus/pituatary/adrenal axis...(the brain connection to your hormones).
On top of that if you don't address the blood sugar and digestive issues you will never break that cycle. So read our Health Steps "IRS" Protocol. it will walk you through the healing process....and once you get your adrenals restored you should be able to slowing start getting your libido back. I know in my book page 43 I talk about how the hormones, testosterone and estrogen get reduced because your adrenals are stealing all your progesterone in order to make enough cortisol.
