Do you suffer from weight gain, cravings, low blood sugar, irritability, PMS and menopause?

Maybe diet is part of the problem!

For the past twenty-five years we have been told two things.  First, how many calories do you eat and burn.  Secondly, ‘fats’ are the problems and we should eat more carbohydrates and less fats.

As a nation were counting calories and eating less fats and more carbohydrates, unfortunately, in the last twenty-five years we have increased the rate of obesity, heart disease, stroke, diabetes, cancer and osteoporosis.

Maybe ‘fats’ aren’t the problem!   Instead of how many calories we eat and burn we should be more concerned with burning calories from stored body fat.  If you are trying to lose weight and keep it off, the key is triggering your body to burn calories from stored body fat.  Your body burns calories from carbohydrates, proteins (lean muscle tissue) or fats.  It is our hormones that will determine if we burn or store fats!

It doesn’t matter what diet you follow, if you’re not triggering your body to burn calories from fats you will never succeed in losing the weight and keeping it off.  As you have learned – ‘stress’ will trigger certain hormones to either burn or store fat.  Diet and the foods you eat will do the same thing.  The key is to trigger the hormones that will burn fat and not store fat.  Most people who fail on any weight loss program are due to the fact, that they are constantly burning calories from carbohydrates and proteins.

If you struggle with your weight and always complain of fatigue, cravings, low blood sugar, irritability, mood swings, depression, lightheadedness, headaches, PMS, menopause, inability to concentrate and focus – there is a great chance you are burning calories from carbohydrates and proteins.  Let’s check your blood sugar!  When your blood sugar surges high and low throughout the day then you are going to suffer from all the symptoms listed.

Blood sugar is regulated by two hormones, which you can control with your diet.  The two hormones are insulin and glucagons.  Insulin stores fats!  Glucagon burns fats!  Insulin inhibits the breakdown of fats and is produced when you eat lots of carbohydrates.  Glucagon is inhibited by insulin and is produced when you eat proteins.  Your adrenal glands also play an important role in regulating your blood sugar.

Many of the low carb diets are correct in trying to stabilize blood sugar, unfortunately too often people completely eliminating good healthy carbohydrates.  Sure you will lose weight, but often times the initially weight loss is water weight.  Eating healthy carbohydrates that are rated low on the glycemic index will promote healthy weight loss.

NatraLEAN bars are great tasting snacks that are low glycemic and hypo-allergenic.  The contain no dairy, wheat, corn, soy, peanuts or trans fats and are great for maintaining your blood sugar to ensure your body is burning calories from stored fats.
